Guidelines for Visualization or Technology Demonstrations
LIMIT: 15 minutes will be allocate for demonstrations, which may allow for 5 minutes of question and answer depending upon the volume of presentations. All demonstrations must be loaded in advance. Specifications for secure loading of your software and routines will be promulgated from Supercomputer Committee which has the capacity to store and operate all demonstrations live over the internet, or at campus servers.
Abstract: Provide a
description of your demonstration to enable informed decision-making by
the attendees. Please include any appropriate web sites for your
materials or past work that will allow for follow-up by the attendees.
Abstracts will be published in the 5th International Symposium on
Digital Earth Proceedings. Demonstration projects may, with
author’s permission, be placed into the Digital Earth Exchange
(DEX) to create the first installment into the Digital Commons.
Details on the technical instructions will be provided to all
presenters.
